Braille & AIM/AEM Scanning
Iowa’s AEAs are pleased to provide Braille transcription and AIM/AEM scanning for Iowa students. Due to legislation and funding changes, as of Oct. 1, 2024, Iowa’s AEAs will charge a fee for these services.
Braille Transcription
Braille transcription services are provided for students who are blind or visually impaired by a Library of Congress-certified Braillist. If a student needs Braille materials, a staff member from their school district will need to order the materials.
