Brain Injury
A brain injury can happen at any time to anyone. Heartland AEA staff members consult with schools and families of brain injury victims on the educational needs of the student including the following:
- Student’s return to the educational setting
- Educational planning such as modifications, accommodations and instructional strategies
- Monitoring of progress and identification of future needs
