Develops, implements and coordinates physical therapy services and resources for children birth to age 21 who have been identified with or are suspected of having disabilities in the areas of mobility (e.g., functional movement, transfers) and positioning (e.g., sitting, standing, use of assistive positioning devices)
Collaborates with other team members and community partners to ensure the integration of essential therapeutic components embedded into children’s daily routines
Serves as an advocate for all children and youth
Education & Experience
A master’s or doctorate degree from an accredited physical therapy program
Appropriate license from the Iowa Board of Physical & Occupational Therapy
Statement of Professional Recognition from the Iowa Board of Educational Examiners
Salary
Full-time working 192 days a year: starting salary of $55,783
