  • Assessment Consultant

Education: Educational specialist degree in school psychology

Experience: School psychologist, Assessment consultant
Joined Heartland AEA in 2006

Expertise: Tableau, SQL, Google Sheets, Excel, Qualtrics (including dashboards), Looker Studio, Infinite Campus, creating norms

How I’ve made an impact: In one district I took a project that was very laborious and created a Tableau Viz to automatically calculate percentages of new data. In the past, this had all been done using Excel and took an extreme amount of time to analyze. Now, I can download the data and append it to a data table and the staff can instantly see the new results from the testing window. I have also created SQL queries that allow others to seamlessly pull data in a way that another program requires (e.g., change Gender from an “M” to a “1”). This reduces hours of work.
